GHS Alumni Association

We held our first organizational meeting for the 2012 GHS Alumni Reunion tonight which will be held the weekend of June 23rd & 24th, 2012. We will be asking others to help out with various committees. Those present were Sonna Axon Johnson, Glenda Christensen Knight, Dennis Knight, Cindy Hanson Sampson, Duane Sampson, Scott Stevenson, and Alan McCollough.

New Web Host and New Forum

We just completed transitioning the alumni site to a new web hosting company. Hopefully no one experienced any difficulty accessing the site during that time. Things seemed to go pretty smoothly for the most part.

Our new web hosting service provides a few bells and whistles we didn't have in the past. We did have a community forum where alumni could post messages but it wasn't a part of our hosting companies services and proved to be more of a headache than it was worth.

Our new hosting company does have an easy to use and implement community forum which we have up and running now.

You can visit the forum by clicking on "Forum" over on the right hand side of any page on the site or by clicking it right here: Forum

To access the forum area you will need to use the same user id and password that you use to enter the Classmates area or the Staff area of the website. If you aren't sure what the sign on credentials are for these areas, please send an email to updates@goldfieldalumni.com or editor@goldfieldalumni.com.

If you'd like to make a post on the new forum you will have to register a username and password with a valid email address. Otherwise you will only be able to read the posts on the forum.

We hope you enjoy the new addition to the site and can use it as another way to reconnect with all your old classmates.
